Dragi oče biskupe

Dragi oče biskupe

Kurt Gartner

The book is written simply, warmly, and directly. While critical, it is never hostile. It is intended to stimulate dialogue and encourage bishops to better understand the daily lives of ordinary believers.

Dear Father Bishop is a documentary-reflective book written in the form of letters addressed to a bishop, in which the author Kurt Gärtner speaks about the state of the Church, contemporary social challenges and personal spiritual experiences. The work is a combination of testimony, theological reflection and pastoral appeal. From the perspective of a committed believer, but also a critical observer, the author writes about the problems that believers and priests encounter in everyday life: misunderstanding of the faith, the distancing of young people from the Church, the crisis of authority, formalism, the lack of communication between the clergy and the people, as well as the internal struggles of believers who strive to live evangelically.
