Motel neznanih junaka

Motel neznanih junaka

Adisa Bašić

The book is structured as a series of poems that function like rooms in a "motel" – temporary spaces where emotions, memories, and anonymous human destinies are stored.

The collection is emotional, direct and modern, bringing the voice of a generation that grew up between the fragments of the past and the uncertainty of the future. Bašić manages to combine the intimate and the political, and the “unknown heroes” become symbols of survival, love and quiet strength. Motel of Unknown Heroes is a poetic collection that deals with identity, trauma, loss and intimacy, observing them through the prism of everyday life after the war, the female experience and the fragility of human relationships.
