Glavni lik pušta se iz zatvora posle mnogo godina, nepravedno osuđen za zločin koji nije počinio. Dok pokušava da započne novi život, ne može da se otrese sećanja na izdaju koja ga je dovela u zatvor. Postepeno počinje potragu za pravim krivcima, odlučan da otkrije istinu i povrati izgubljenu čast. Radnja je ispunjena neizvesnošću, susretima sa ljudima iz prošlosti i otkrivanjem skrivenih tajni. Kako se približava istini, glavni lik se suočava i sa moralnim dilemama – između osvete i pravde.
