7000 godina perzijske umjetnosti: Remek-djela iz iranskog narodnog muzeja u Teheranu

The exhibition provides an insight into the rich cultural and historical heritage of Iran through exceptional masterpieces. The exhibited works of art from Tehran depict the fascinating development of Persian art over seven millennia.

The exhibition project "7000 Years of Persian Art" represents a unique journey through the fascinating history of one of the world's oldest and most influential civilizations. Through carefully selected masterpieces from the collection of the National Museum of Iran in Tehran, visitors have the opportunity to witness the incredible continuity and aesthetic evolution of Persian creativity from prehistoric times to the Islamic period. The exhibited materials include a wide range of artistic and functional objects. Prehistoric ceramics captivate with their geometric motifs and stylized depictions of animals, while luxurious gold and silver jewelry, dishes and ritual objects testify to the supreme skill of ancient masters. A special place is occupied by reliefs, sculptures and metal objects from the era of powerful empires - Elam, Achaemenid, Parthian and Sasanian - which exude monumentality, political power and religious symbolism. Objects from later centuries display refined calligraphy, illuminated manuscripts, fine fabrics and characteristic glazed ceramics of the Islamic era. This exhibition not only showcases top artistic achievements, but also provides a deep insight into the daily life, beliefs and cultural exchange of the Ancient East.
