Artan Lili

On their CD album *III*, Artan Lili blend alternative rock, noise-pop, and hip-hop collaborations. The ten tracks feature infectious rhythms, striking vocals, and guest appearances by artists such as Cane, Juice, Nikola Vranjković, and Coby.

III is the third studio album by the Belgrade-based band Artan Lili, released on CD by Croatia Records in 2025. Its ten tracks blend the band’s signature alternative rock and noise-pop sound with an openness toward other genres. Bass, guitar, drums, and vocals combine to create a rhythmically driven style where melody and repetition play a key role.

The first half consists of tracks performed by the band alone: Maca, Foliram, Priča, Oud, and Pedana. These songs feature the directness of rock instrumentation, memorable choruses, and lyrics that bridge personal relationships with everyday experiences. The interplay between vocal roles and a persistent rhythm keeps the tracks in motion, while the guitar parts retain the band’s characteristic edge.

The second half opens the door to collaborations. Rokenrol posle rokenrola features Cane, Geler includes Juice, and Otrov features Nikola Vranjković. The final track, Tu ih karaš, was created with Coby, further expanding the album’s genre scope. Along with Hardkor i pank, the collection brings together diverse approaches—all while remaining firmly rooted in the band’s distinct, recognizable artistic voice.

This album is an excellent choice for fans of regional alternative and contemporary rock who enjoy seeing guitar-driven energy intersect with fresh production and vocal concepts. The collaborations introduce new textures, while the band’s solo tracks maintain a strong connection to their core sound. III offers a dynamic listening experience, with enough melodic appeal for a first encounter, as well as details worth returning to upon repeated listens. Rhythm remains at the core.
