Bakonja fra Brne is a novel published in 1892 by Simo Matavulj. The plot is set in Dalmatinska Zagora around 1870, and the title character is a young man who, following the family tradition, becomes one of the Franciscan monks in the Visovac monastery.
Roald Dahl is known as one of the best children's authors of all time, a long-time consecutive winner of the "Author of the Year" award in Great Britain.
It describes the adventures of two journalists. In 1958, they set off, sailing on a raft, on an adventure from Zagreb to the Black Sea.
