Tri stoljeća Belja

Belje is the oldest business entity in Croatia, which has been operating continuously for more than 300 years. The origin and development of the economy of Belje are conditioned by historical and war events in this part of Europe.

From the Preface: ""Belje" PIK was founded in 1698. The seat of the estate was initially in Bilje, and from 1827 in Kneževo... The Yugoslav Academy, accepting the patronage of the scientific group that will research "Three Centuries of Belje", believed that studying the experience of that great collective can bring valuable scientific results, not only in Belje, but also to all those who care about agriculture and the development of socialism and faster progress of the socialist economy."
