In 2017, Elodie Winslow, a young archivist in London, finds a leather bag containing a photograph of a woman in Victorian clothing and drawings of Birchwood Manor. Why is the house so familiar to her? Who is the beautiful woman in the photograph? And what secrets are hidden there?
