Glasnik, vlasnik, hodočasnik

Glasnik, vlasnik, hodočasnik

Pavao Pavličić

When he was only five years old, in 1991, Dinko was forced to leave Vukovar. He ended up in Denmark with his parents, and is now studying there. He returns to Vukovar for the first time, visits the ruins of his house, wants to visit his grandmother.

In an abandoned house, he sees a spot on the wall where a painting that is unusually important to him used to hang, and he wants to find it. The clues indicate that the painting ended up in Zagreb, and Dinko sets off on a journey in the morning. But the path he will have to overcome to find the painting will be full of obstacles. Along the way, he meets healers, fan groups, vegetarians, protesters, and other phenomena that make up our social landscape. Along the way, of course, he also finds a girl. He discovers the fate of the painting he is looking for, and then returns to Vukovar, where several more important discoveries await him.
