Weekend in Paris

Weekend in Paris

Robyn Sisman

"Weekend in Paris" is a 2003 novel by Robyn Sisman, a light and romantic tale of adventure, self-discovery, and love.

The main character, Molly Clearwater, is a young and ambitious woman who works at a London investment firm. When her boss, whom she secretly admires, promises her a business trip to Paris, she is thrilled. However, she soon realizes that she has been invited not as an equal colleague, but as an assistant. In anger and disappointment, she decides to quit her job and spend the weekend in Paris on her own.

On this spontaneous trip, Molly meets interesting people, explores the charms of the city of love, and unexpectedly finds herself – and perhaps true love. Through humor and romance, the novel explores the importance of independence, courage, and openness to life’s surprises.
