Kornel večernji

Kornel večernji

Deszo Kosztolanyi

Deze Kostolanyi is an exceptional Hungarian artist, originally from Subotica, who has achieved success in many literary genres, from poetry to essays to theater plays.

This novel is made up of a series of novellas, created in the thirties of the twentieth century, which are united by the main character. The writer bravuraly creates a character from a material that is intimately his own, and a good part of the atmosphere around Kornel is not only Kostolanji's experience of the world, but also the local experience in Subotica. Subtle and refined humor is one of the characteristics of this novel, a true response to a debauched and crazy world.
