U Prijedoru, malom gradu u Bosni, trideset godina nakon Drugog svetskog rata, uzdižu se dva „nebodera“ – crveni i plavi. Na crvenom nebu prepliću se životi stanovnika različitih sudbina, nacija i religija.

Nekada opušten i dinamičan život u multinacionalnom gradu nestaje tokom poslednjeg rata u Bosni i Hercegovini, koji sada ispisuje tragične priče stanovnika zgrade koji pate. U tridesetak poglavlja, od kojih je svako priča za sebe, a lift (marke Šindler) je veza između svih priča, urušava se svet radničkog uspona i nade i ranije tolerantan i miran suživot različitih naroda i religija. Roman je nagrađen Fricovom nagradom za 2018/2019.
