Život dostojan života: Eutanazija u prosudbi medicinske etike

Even the right to life itself, while on the one hand it is emphasized and exalted, on the other hand - already before birth, during life and especially in old age and before death - it is trampled on and played with in many ways. In a society of consumption and pleasures, life itself becomes a commodity. Therefore, it is nothing unusual that euthanasia — the destruction of life — is offered and imposed on the market of worldviews, as a way and way to save the dignity of life.

The question of the right to dignity in dying and death, the question of the right to a mild and painless death, is an unavoidable question today. These pages want to consider this setting of demands and assertion of rights in all their forms, and, as far as possible, offer light for further individual and personal search, realization and respect for life and the right to live in dignity at all its levels, including suffering and pain, dying and death, as admittedly painful but inevitable components of human life.
