On 167 pages, the author systematically covers the minerals and rocks that make up the Earth's crust, their physical and technical properties, harmful ingredients, and methods of protecting and restoring stone buildings. Special attention is paid to the use of stone in high-quality concrete, as well as to historical buildings and stone works of art in our country. The book is richly illustrated with drawings, diagrams, and photographs, and also contains a map "Quarries and Ore Deposits in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia" measuring 70 × 73 cm, made by Vjekoslav Kovač.
