Kazalište misterija u Grčkoj: Tragedija

Kazalište misterija u Grčkoj: Tragedija

Jorge Angel Livraga

Mystery theater developed from the Eleusinian mysteries and their approach to people.

Each of its types seeks to teach something, especially tragedy. Through sudden twists and shocking scenes, the viewer is gradually involved in the action as a direct participant who is deeply affected by these events. Mystery theater seeks to show the essence of things and as such has a strong cathartic effect on the audience. In tragedy, human action is governed by fate and the gods; people are subject to the Law, Dike, according to which every action results in corresponding reactions, following an inexorable moral mechanism.
