Čudnovate zgode šegrta Hlapića / Šest konaka šegrta Hlapića

Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić

"The Wonderful Adventures of Hlapić's Apprentice" is the most famous work of the most popular Croatian writer Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić. So far, it has been published in 140 editions.

What sets this edition apart from the others is the fact that Šegrt Hlapić was published for the first time in its original form, as written by the author, without interfering with the language. The book is also unique in that, for the first time, the author's play "The Six Apartments of Hlapić's Apprentice" was published alongside the novel.

The book was prepared by Prof. dr. Vinko Brešić, literary historian and professor at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb.
