Stephen King

Seven friends face a mysterious evil that has terrorized the small town of Derry for decades. After many years, they reunite to finish the fight they started in childhood.

Stephen King's It is one of the most famous novels in modern horror literature. The story takes place in the small town of Derry, Maine, where mysterious disappearances of children and a series of unexplained tragedies have occurred over the course of a decade. At the center of the story is a group of children known as the "Losers' Club", who are united by friendship, loneliness and a common fight against an ancient evil.

During the summer of 1958, seven children discover that behind a series of terrible events lies a being who can change shape and appear in the most terrible forms of their fears. He most often appears as the creepy clown Pennywise, but his true nature is much more complex and dangerous. After temporarily defeating him, the friends swear to return if evil reawakens.

Twenty-seven years later, when similar crimes begin to occur in Derry again, the members of the Losers' Club return to their hometown to keep a promise they made in childhood. Faced with their own traumas, memories, and fears, they must find the strength for the final showdown.

The novel combines elements of horror, psychological thriller, and coming-of-age story. In addition to suspense and terrifying scenes, it explores themes of friendship, courage, memory, and facing one's own fears. It is considered one of Stephen King's most important and influential works.
