The second book by the authors Petković and Kregar, which is intended for students preparing for exams. The first was published under the title "Review of the main systems of sociological theories".
The texts in the book are a collection of study materials and a somewhat systematized treatment of some of the theoretical problems in the field of sociology included in the teaching material at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb. Although with this book, as they say, the authors offer students the second comprehensive text that should serve as a source information for the preparation of the exam, however, it still does not cover all the thematic and problematic horizons, the entire field of sociology of ethnicity, even sociology of the political sphere, sociology of conflicts is hardly even indicated. On the other hand, basic knowledge in the sociology of religion and the sociology of art was provided, which are areas that students often choose as the subject of study seminars.
