Ono o čemu se ne može govoriti

Ono o čemu se ne može govoriti

Elvedin Nezirović

The novel is written as an autobiography since for Nezirović, writing is a healing job: it heals, heals wounds and eases the soul, but it is also a way to openly tell society everything that follows him.

The novel is divided into two parts – the first part concerns pre-war and wartime childhood, and the second describes the situation in post-war Bosnia. Between these two parts are two Elvedins – Elvedin as a child and Elvedin as an adult who writes the book. Although the course of life takes us from childhood to adulthood, Elvedin writes his book retrospectively, since the topics he has not been able to talk about since his distant childhood. They are also his sore spots that he wants to purify and finally let them heal.
