Sama struktura knjige na neki je način određena okolnostima njezina nastanka. Riječ je o minijaturama, o rečenicama koje su "umrežene" na isti način na koji skakač plete svoju mrežu na šahovskoj figuri, krećući se nelinearno i skokovito, pa se i ova knjiga može čitati nelinearno, u skokovima i granicama.
