Katekizam Katoličke Crkve: Dorađeno izdanje
The Catechism of the Catholic Church is an exposition of the faith of the Church and Catholic doctrine as found in Sacred Scripture, Apostolic Tradition, and the Magisterium of the Church. Pope John Paul II declared it a sure rule and a legitimate means f
The Catechism presents the four pillars of the Catholic faith: the profession of faith at baptism, the sacraments of faith, the life of faith, and the prayer of the faithful. It simply contains all Catholic doctrine, and is aimed at deepening the knowledge of the faith, its maturation, and its rooting in life.
“The Catechism of the Catholic Church is offered to every person who asks us for an explanation of the hope that is in us and who urgently desires to know what the Catholic Church believes,” wrote Pope John Paul II in the apostolic constitution Fidei Depositum, by which he presented to the public the Catechism of the Catholic Church prepared after the Second Vatican Council.
