Esperanto: Praktična metodička gramatika sa vježbama, razgovorima i štivom za samouke i škole
Dušan Maruzzi's Esperanto is a manual for learning the international language Esperanto, intended for beginners, students, and anyone who wants to master its basics on their own.
Esperanto – Practical Grammar for Self-Learners and SchoolsDušan Maruzzi is an educational manual intended for learning the international planned language Esperanto. The work is adapted for both independent learners and schools and is intended as a systematic introduction to the grammar, spelling, pronunciation and basic vocabulary of the language created at the end of the 19th century by Ludwik Lejzer Zamenhof with the aim of facilitating international communication.
The author explains the basic grammatical rules of Esperanto in a clear and methodical manner, which are characterized by simplicity, regularity and the absence of numerous exceptions characteristic of natural languages. Through examples, exercises and practical texts, the reader gradually acquires basic language structures, word formation, the use of verb forms and the most important elements of everyday communication.
The manual was created during a period when the Esperanto movement had a significant number of supporters throughout Europe, including in Croatia. In addition to language instructions, the book indirectly testifies to the efforts to promote cultural cooperation, understanding between nations, and easier exchange of knowledge through a common international language.
Written in a clear and accessible manner, the work served as a textbook, a manual for self-taught students, and an aid in organized language learning. Today, it represents an interesting document of the history of the Esperanto movement in Croatia and a valuable source for studying the development of international auxiliary languages and language pedagogy in the 20th century.
