Critics have compared this kind of "philosophical fairy tale" to Saint Exupery's Little Prince because it exudes life's optimism and interprets dreams not as an escape, but as a way of knowing the hidden reality. I discovered Moebius in the early seventies. His birds, his horizons and labyrinths enriched my imagination and enabled me to see myself more clearly and deeply. For years I tried to awaken the reader through my books and interest him in the magic of our everyday life. In a way, my work reflected what the greats taught me (or: what I learned from the greats) that open the door to the imaginary. Among them, Möbius occupies a very privileged place. For all these reasons, I experience great joy when I look at these beautiful illustrations of Alchemists. I feel that we share the pleasure of immersion in the depth of the Soul of the world.
