Basic rules of the diet:
- Separation of proteins and carbohydrates (e.g. meat without bread, pasta without meat)
- Fruit is eaten separately, best on an empty stomach
- Simple meals – fewer combinations in one meal
- Space between meals to allow food to be fully digested
- Emphasis on fresh and natural foods
