"Tales of Italy" is a collection of short stories by Maxim Gorky, written during his stay in Italy at the beginning of the 20th century. "Russian Fairy Tales" is Gorky's interpretation of traditional Russian folk tales.

Kafka's diaries, published posthumously, reveal the inner world of an anxious genius. The first volume covers his early years, when Kafka worked as an insurance clerk in Prague, faced with a dreary life and literary ambitions.

The second volume of Kafka's diaries covers the crucial years 1912–1914. This volume is a bridge between the early sketches and the mature novels, and the fragments are raw, aphoristic, full of self-mutilation, but also ingenious introspection.

Dnevnik Anne Frank

Anne Frank died in March 1945 at the age of fifteen in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Two years after that, the book The Diary of Anne Frank was published.
