This manual is intended for inspectors who perform inspections with the aim of correct application of regulations and protection of the economic interests of labor organizations and consumers.
The aim of this manual is, in addition to the adequate interpretation of the provisions of the Ordinance on the quality of fruit, vegetables and processed products, to contribute to the training of control personnel, both internal in trade work organizations and social control, i.e. inspection bodies. Namely, the manual is intended primarily for inspectors who perform inspections with the aim of correct application of regulations and protection of the economic interests of labor organizations and consumers, for the purpose of detecting fraud and generally checking quality and establishing economic crimes and misdemeanors. The manual provides practical instructions on simple methods and tests for determining organoleptic properties and deviations from the prescribed quality, and generally on quality assessment with expected tolerances. Also, the control methodology and instructions on how many packages should be inspected during the control of larger batches of fruits and vegetables and the procedure itself were also covered.
